The social service can intervene in a wide range of social matters (mutual insurance companies, family allowance funds, debt mediation, student grants, CPAS, etc.). This service is bound by a code of ethics and professional secrecy.
The Social Service's mission is to help students overcome any difficulties that may prevent them from continuing their studies. The general aim of the service is to work with students to find the most appropriate solution to their needs. The social service is: a place accessible to all; a place to receive support and assistance; a place to listen, to talk in complete confidentiality; a place to access information and guidance; and a player in prevention. The social service also offers students who qualify for social assistance access to occasional jobs during the year at the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles. On the basis of specific criteria, it grants financial support to students who request it.
Application forms for social assistance are available from the social assistant during his office hours, or on request by e-mail.
