Séverine Provost

Biography

Founder and General Manager of the BE CULTURE agency, Séverine Provost has been building bridges between artists, cultural institutions and the public since 1999, making each artistic project a true space for dialogue and resonance. Her agency, recognised in Belgium and internationally, orchestrates communication, media, digital and events.

Trained in piano at the Conservatorio Santa Cecilia in Rome, where she won first prize, and having studied literature and foreign languages at the Università La Sapienza, Séverine Provost combines artistic rigour with cultural openness. Her degree in Public Relations and Communication in Brussels enables her to translate this sensitivity into concrete strategies to promote the artistic and cultural projects she works on every day.

Passionate about passing on her knowledge, she devotes a significant part of her time to teaching. Since 2012, she has been guiding students at the Royal Conservatory of Mons, since 2022 in visual communication at ARTS2 in Mons, and since 2024 at the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles, while also teaching at the IHECS Academy. For Séverine Provost, teaching is more than just sharing knowledge: it is about awakening curiosity, stimulating critical thinking and nurturing artistic sensitivity.

This pedagogical vocation feeds into her work at the agency: each project becomes a space for transmission, where art, culture and communication come together to inspire and move people.Belgian, deeply rooted in her territory but with an eye on the wider world, Séverine Provost cultivates a demanding approach to culture: an art of revealing the world and sharing it.
