Noha Choukrallah
Biography
Noha Choukrallah is a Belgian film director, screenwriter and educator.
She is a graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels and the University of Quebec in Montreal.
Her short films (Night Light, Amine and Marée Haute) have received international acclaim, notably from Wim Wenders and Jane Campion, who presented her with the Relais Award in 2020 at the ‘Cinema For Change’ festival, initiated by the United Nations.
Her films offer a unique and poetic perspective on social issues.
Supported by the production companies Altitude100 (Belgium), Offshore (France) and Storytelle (Germany), she is currently developing her first feature film – À main levée.
