Born in Brussels, Anne Van den Bossche graduated from the Conservatoire Royal de musique de Bruxelles, where she obtained the higher diplomas in chamber music and piano in the class of Jean Claude Vanden Eynden. She furthered her studies with Pierre Sancan and was awarded a scholarship to complete her training at the Hochschule für Musik in Vienna with Paul Badura Skoda. A laureate of the Concours Tenuto, she has performed as a soloist with the Orchestre National de Belgique. For many years, she has also collaborated regularly with the Orchestre royal de chambre de Wallonie. Anne Van den Bossche has a particular affinity for chamber music. She formed a duo with the violinist Pascal Schmidt, with whom she recorded a CD devoted to French music that was widely acclaimed by the Belgian and international press. She is a member of various ensembles such as piano quartet and piano quintet, exploring the full breadth of the repertoire, notably works from the twentieth century that demand both rigour and precision. More recently, her qualities as a chamber musician have led her to perform with the violinist Augustin Dumay, the flautist Pierre Pierlot and the pianist Frank Braley. Currently, Anne Van den Bossche works as an accompanist at the Conservatoires royaux de Bruxelles and Mons.
