Aki Saulière

Biography

Aki Saulière studied in France, England, Austria, and Germany, which provided her with extensive experience and a deep understanding of various violin schools. Throughout her musical career, her experiences have been very diverse, driven by her desire to explore a wide range of repertoires and perform them on different instruments and bows. The musical personalities with whom she has worked extensively and who have shaped her understanding of certain repertoires include Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Claudio Abbado, Bernard Haitink, Paavo Berglund, Carlo Maria Giuliani, as well as the Hungarian masters György Kurtág and Ferenc Rados, and since her childhood, Yuko Mori. As a chamber musician, soloist, and member of the Orchestre de Chambre d’Europe, Aki possesses a rich musical heritage that she seeks to share with the younger generation. Through the violin repertoire, she aims to develop a deep understanding of each musical language while nurturing the individuality of each student.
