Frédérique Aronica-Lehembre began her musical studies in cello, chamber music, harmony, counterpoint, and fugue at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Reims, where she met Pierre Penassou and Michel Poulet, who passed on to her their passion for chamber music, as well as Olivier Trachier for composition and writing disciplines. She continued her training at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP) in the composition and analysis classes of Edith Lejet, Roger Boutry, and Michaël Levinas, and at the École Normale de Musique de Paris, where she studied with Marc-Didier Thirault and Geneviève Teulières.
