Vincent De Boever is a musician and teacher. He studied clarinet and music theory at the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles, where he obtained his diplomas in 2010. He then continued his training at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, where he studied harmony, counterpoint and fugue, notably with Franklin Gyselynck and Jan D'Haene. He obtained a Master's degree in composition there in 2018.
He teaches music theory, composition and analysis, instrumental ensemble (orchestra) and clarinet at the Academy of Woluwe-Saint-Lambert. At this institution, he also initiated a creative lab, an educational programme combining instrumental ensemble and composition, in which a small group of young musicians collaborate on a collective music creation project.
At the same time, he teaches music training at the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles, where he works with the singing, rhythm and percussion sections, as well as with musicology students at the ULB.
Vincent De Boever is also the author of the website www.formation-musicale.be, an educational platform dedicated to music education, on which he provides numerous tools, resources and interactive materials.
