Isabelle Bialek

Biography

Isabelle Bialek is a lecturer in the flute and piccolo class at the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles. She studied and obtained a Premier Prix in transverse flute at the Koningklijk Muziekconservatorium van Brussel in 1986. At the Conservatoire royal de Mons, she obtained a higher diploma and a Premier Prix in chamber music. She studied with Baudoin Giaux in Brussels, with Ida Ribera in Paris, and with Raymond Guyot and Christel Delaval in Lille. For many years, she was active within various symphonic ensembles in Belgium and regularly performs in chamber music. Passionate about teaching and transmission, she has taught at the Koningkliijk Muziekconservatorium van Brussel, at the Conservatoire royal de Mons, at the Conservatoire royal de Liège, and at the Conservatoire Supérieur de Maestricht in the Netherlands. Currently, in addition to the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles, she teaches at the Conservatoire Grumiaux de Charleroi, her city of origin, and at the academy of Montigny le Tilleul.
