Anne-Claire

Anne-Claire studied at the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles (First Prize in declamation in 1988 and in dramatic art in 1990) and also obtained a First Prize in spoken French methodology in 1989.

She has performed under the direction of Frédéric Dussenne (Athalie by Racine), Jean-Marie Villégier (Le Menteur, Sophonisbe, and L’Illusion comique by Corneille), William Christie and Jean-Marie Villégier (Les Métamorphoses de Psyché by Lully/Molière, Corneille, Quinault), Jacques Lassalle (As You Like It by Shakespeare), Jean-Michel Frère(Les Bains by Mayakovsky), Jean-Claude Penchenat (L’opéra de Smyrne by Goldoni), Philippe Sireuil (Hedda Gablerby Ibsen and Les Reines by Chaurette), Lorent Wanson (Genet's Les Bonnes), Christophe Sermet (Levin's Une laborieuse entreprise and Lanoye's Mamma Medea), Vincent Goethals (Fréchette's Je pense à Yu and Ecer's Lady First), Fabrice Gardin (F. In 2025, she starred in the feature film “Heysel,” directed by Teodora Ana Mihai.

During the 2025–2026 season, she will perform in “Les Justes” by A. Camus, at the Théâtre Jean Vilar in Louvain-la-Neuve and at the Théâtre des Martyrs, directed by Jean-Baptiste Delcourt, and she will reprise “Jamais toujours parfois” by K. Feaver, directed by Magali Pinglaut, on tour in Belgium.

She won the Best Actress Award at the 2018 Critics' Awards for Oh les beaux jours.

She has been teaching drama at the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles since 2015.
