Benjamin Van Belleghem holds a Master's degree in Dramatic Arts from the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles, obtained with Great Distinction in 2022.
In recent years, he has had the pleasure of working on texts by great authors of classical theatre literature such as Shakespeare, Molière, Marivaux and Alexandre Dumas, under the direction of directors such as Daphné D'Heur (Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, Marivaux's The Game of Love and Chance), Patrice Minck (Molière's The Misanthrope) and Thierry Debroux (The Count of Monte Cristo by Dumas, adapted by Thierry Debroux).
Passionate about literature and poetry, particularly 19th-century works and Alexandrian verse, Benjamin Van Belleghem strives to convey his love of words through the Declamation course he has had the pleasure of teaching for the past three years.
He is gradually developing a teaching method based on listening to the artistic desires and impulses of the students in front of him. He is also sensitive to the work of the body and likes to forge links between the different courses taught at the Conservatoire in order to meet the needs of the students and guide them as best he can in the world of words and the art of declamation.
Benjamin Van Belleghem is also a member of the Conservatoire's Academic Council and will be able to answer any questions that anyone wishing to join our school may have.
