CeBeDeM collection

The CeBeDeM (Centre Belge de Documentation Musicale) was a non-proft organisation active between 1951 and 2015. It was placed under the auspices of the Federal Government and received support from Sabam and the Belgian National Lottery in order to further the promotion and performance of works by contemporary Belgian composers. The aim of the CeBeDeM was to promote contemporary Belgian music both at home and abroad. To this end, the CeBeDeM collected and edited works by its members, reproduced unpublished scores in order for them to be performed and promoted, and collected orchestral scores by affiliated composers

The CeBeDeM collection comprises over 300 metres of works by 20th century Belgian composers. This collection was acquired by the library of the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles in 2015.
