Study trips

Most study trips within the department of Early Music are organised by the instrument classes.

The harpsichord class have organised a number of trips, for example to Rome and Bologna.

As part of the colloqium in 2017 on "The development of musical instruments in Bologna and Venice between 1680 and 1750", the department organised a study trip for students and staff to visit Bologna and Venice, led by Marc Vanscheeuwijck.
The trip helped the students and staff gain deeper insight into the subject of the 2016 colloquium.
