Metamorphosis in physical theater

June 13 2023 14:00

13 juin 2023 I 14:00 > 16:00

In this workshop, Alfonso Rivera takes us on an exploration of gesture through poetic identification in the service of embodiment. In this pedagogical process, the actor integrates the essential characteristics of an element: its space, its rhythm and the forces that compose it. One of the fundamental pillars of this theatrical game is identification. We'll start with one of the great universal themes, the elements of nature: water, fire, air and earth. We'll add a fifth essential element, the passage of time, to understand the principles of organic processes and of a reality in continuous transformation. The result will be a study of nature's seasons and the poetic resonances that emerge as we bring these corporeal landscapes to life.
