July 3 2023 09:30 > July 7 2023 17:00
Objectives of a Cognitive Trance - Artistic Process workshop
The aim of this workshop is to pass on the tools needed to develop intuitive thinking, which is essential for a strong, connected, singular and free artistic approach and practice. Once access to the trance state through willpower alone is acquired, a more acute artistic accompaniment (personalized and collective) is established: the entire artistic process is revisited, including the possibility of using cognitive trance at each creative stage (or in the stages the student finds necessary for his or her artistic work).
Link between Cognitive Trance and the creative process
Both are a tool for exploring an underlying reality and a technique for cognitive amplification. Cognitive trance is a particularly interesting state for facilitating access to the natural processes described in moments of inspiration, where the notion of time seems to disappear, where the emergence of ideas and intuitive learning processes are amplified and fluid, and where gestures are perfectly attuned to the intentions set beforehand.
The workshop will be led by Virginie Pfeiffer from the TranceLab Institute. The TranceLab Institute was founded on the initiative of Corine Sombrun, and works in partnership with various universities and research centers: Laboratoire Giga Consciousness at the University of Liège (Steven Laureys), Université Paris 8 Vincennes/Saint-Denis...
