Jazz Harp and Melodic Instrument Masterclass by Christophe Saunière

March 2 2026 10:00 > March 3 2026 18:00

A talented and renowned harpist, his career path is unusual... After playing in France's leading symphony orchestras (Orchestre de Paris, Orch. Du Capitole de Toulouse, Orch. Philhar. de Radio France, Orch. national de Lyon, Orch. de Bordeaux-Aquitaine, Ondif...) while playing bass and drums in various rock bands, he then became the harpist for the Scottish National Orchestra, where he remained for five years. He took advantage of this opportunity to rediscover his Celtic roots and accompany bagpiper Joanne McIver, while touring Europe, Russia, Japan and the USA.

Now living in France, he devotes himself to Joanne McIver's compositions, recording sessions, jazz, classical music and world music, and has played in the leading European contemporary music ensembles.

Also in high demand as a studio musician, whether for film scores, French and international pop music, children's CDs, etc., Christophe has recorded around 80 albums!
