Improvisational Ensemble

March 30 2027 12:30

Improvisation is an art of the present and a collective art. In it, the musician combines the roles of performer and co-composer. It constitutes in itself a genuine social model, where everyone can have their say and interact with the group. The freedom found within it consists, on the one hand, of freeing oneself from certain constraints present in other musical situations. But it also involves creating musical situations and behaviours that do not exist in other contexts. The Improvisational Ensemble is also an invitation to come together: a coming together of musicians from the worlds of classical music, jazz and BARR. It is also a coming together with actors, some of whom will recite texts that the instrumentalists will spontaneously illustrate with their notes. And finally, an encounter with you, who will honour this unique moment with your presence.
