Bruno Coulais is undoubtedly one of the most inventive musicians of his generation. Always in search of sound curiosity, he likes to sculpt stamps, themes and rhythms, until the concretization of an original language. Exploring a cinema with plural aesthetics, he has marked the seventh art over time, signing noted scores such as "Coraline" by Henry Selick, "L'adieu à la Reine" by Benoît Jacquot, "Microcosmos" by Claude Nuridsany and Marie Pérennou, or "Les rivières pourpres" by Mathieu Kassovitz. On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Ars Musica, he unveils his approach to the image, his closely cultivated link with the lights and the colors in a conference and a unique concert that returns on this singular journey of a composer, that relentlessly defeats a territory of artistic freedom.
