Alumni of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels: Eduardo Fabini (1882-1950)

To mark Uruguay's bicentenary, the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles, in partnership with the Embassy of Uruguay, invites you to a lecture-concert dedicated to Eduardo Fabini. A violinist trained in César Thomson's class (1900-1903), Fabini became one of the leading figures in Uruguayan and South American music. On his return to Montevideo, he drew inspiration from his Brussels alma mater to found the Conservatorio Musical del Uruguay. This event will be an opportunity to rediscover his piano works, performed by one of his greatest specialists.
