Pierre Drevet is one of the most important figures in French jazz. A complete musician, trumpeter but also a composer and brilliant arranger, this musician is one of the most sought-after sideman. Virtuoso, with a solid and always precise phrasing, his playing is of a fascinating limpidity. He has been acclaimed by André Ceccarelli, Ricardo Del Fra, Simon Goubert, Didier Lockwood, Charles Aznavour... Drevet also seduced Ray Charles, Quincy Jones and John Lewis, whom he accompanied. Big Band is also one of his fields of excellence: Laurent Cugny's National Jazz Orchestra, "Patrice Caratini Jazz Ensemble" and the "Brussels Jazz Orchestra". A master's career, international concerts, an impressive discography (more than 25 albums).
