Ce soir je suis libre

From living to remembering. From everything to nothing. Rachel lived. The story of one woman who represents thousands of others. In English, we distinguish the word "heritage" from the word "legacy". The former refers to possessions, material goods, a house, the latter to everything that reveals the immaterial, what we receive in spite of ourselves. We dive into his history through the memories of his son Serge. The deeper we dive, the more violence appears. The violence that is hidden and normalized. The one that disturbs, that nobody sees or rather that nobody wants to see because it is too hard to bear. Love or power, the border is thin. The English make this distinction. Rachel passes on a house in Auxerre and a morbid desire for men to her son, Serge.
