French pianist Pascal Godart is the winner of the Grand Prix Maria Callas International Piano Competition (1996) in Greece where he performed ten concertos. He has appeared extensively on international stages and venues such as Salle Pleyel and Salle Gaveau in Paris, Konzerthaus in Vienna, Acropolis Amphitheatre and Megaro Muzikis in Athens, Bolshoi and Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow, Philharmonie Hall in St. Petersburg, Seoul Arts Center in South Korea, Yokohama and Hakuba Festival, Hamamatsu Hama Hall in Japan, Stresa Festival in Italy, Radio-France Montpellier Festival (France), Les Haudères Festival in Valais (Switzerland), Académie Tibor Varga (Switzerland), La Monnaie in Bruxelles, Shanghai Concert Hall (China) and numerous others.
He has also appeared with many prestigious orchestras and conductors in Europe, America and Asia. Highlights of his recent and upcoming engagements include piano concertos of Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Berg, Rachmaninov, Prokofiev, Ravel, Liszt, Tchaikovsky, Saint-Saëns, Mozart.
Mr. Godart has captured top prizes in numerous international piano competitions, including Robert Casadesus in Cleveland (1989), Dino Ciani in Scala, Milano (1992), and Tokyo International Music Competition in Japan (1992). In 1990 he was the Grand Prize winner of Porto International Competition in Portugal.
A dedicated chamber musician, Pascal Godart also devotes much of his time to chamber music collaborating with many of leading musicians and ensembles, among them the  American Ballet Theater (Benjamin Millepied), Brigitte Meyer, Pavel Vernikov, Svetlana Makarova, Henri Demarquette, Istvàn Vàrdai, Joël Marosi, Eli Karanfilova, Mi-Kyung Lee, Gyula Stuller, Olivier Charlier, Raphaël Oleg, Natalia Gutman, Florent Héau, Sasha Zemtsov, David Gaillard, Jean-Louis Capezzali, Marina Viotti.
Pascal Godart studied piano with Renée Entremont, mother of Phillip Entremont. In 1985, he entered Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris (Yvonne Loriod and Pierre Reach).
Mr. Godart received first prizes in solo piano, chamber music, vocal accompaniment, and continued his studies in the most selective program of the Conservatoire, Cycle de Perfectionnement. He was one of the most brilliant students of Prof. Vadim Sakharov.
Pascal Godart has been member of jurys such as Grand Prix Maria Callas 2010 in Athens, pre-selection committee for Geneva International Piano Competition 2014.
Since 2010, Pascal Godart is Professor at Hemu - Lausanne.
